MiPAC accepts up to 25 COUNSELORS IN TRAINING (CITs) each week.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop leadership and musical skills. CITs may attend one or more weeks, and receive a discount of 50% off their tuition.
CIT REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent musician
- Desire to develop leadership skills
- Ages 16–18
- Entering Junior Year of High School
- Teacher Recommendation
- Attend 1, 2, 3, or all 4 weeks
CIT DUTIES
- Follow and enforce all camp rules & regs
- Perform in ensembles as needed by conductors
- Assist counselors in supervising campers
- Work with your assigned Big/Little Counselor
- Learn to serve as mentors and role models
- Assist in ensuring camper safety and well-being
- Office hours: assist Directors in office tasks
- Serve as Camp Ambassadors
- Setup and shutdown
- Assist in camper registrations
- Assist campers move-in and move-out
- Assist as needed in all ensemble/class/dorm setups and breakdowns
- Ushering Concerts
- Facility maintenance
- Stage crew assistance
